As global demand for energy storage continues to grow, Xupernova is proud to introduce its next-generation Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Designed for flexibility, safety, and high performance, the new system supports a wide range of applications including grid support, commercial and industrial energy management, and mobile energy solutions.
The newly launched BESS product line offers capacities ranging from 241 kWh to 5 MWh, providing scalable storage solutions for projects of different sizes.
At the core of the system is a high-performance bidirectional PCS (Power Conversion System), enabling both charging and discharging capabilities for seamless interaction with the power grid and renewable energy sources.
This architecture allows the system to support applications such as:
· peak shaving
· renewable energy integration
· backup power supply
· grid stabilization
By integrating the battery packs with the PCS in a highly optimized structure, the system delivers stable AC output of 380V or 220V, ensuring reliable power supply across a variety of environments.
To ensure long-term performance and safety, Xupernova’s BESS is equipped with an advanced liquid cooling thermal management system.
Compared with traditional air-cooled solutions, liquid cooling provides:
· more efficient heat dissipation
· improved battery lifecycle
· better performance stability under high load conditions
This allows the system to maintain stable operation even during continuous energy cycling.
The system is engineered with multiple high-current connection options, allowing flexible installation and simplified maintenance.
These include:
· High-current copper busbar connections for robust internal power distribution
· High-current quick-connect plug & socket interfaces for rapid deployment
· Grid-side quick-connect sockets for efficient connection to external power infrastructure
This modular connection architecture significantly improves installation efficiency, system scalability, and maintenance convenience.
Safety is a key design principle of the Xupernova BESS platform.
The system incorporates comprehensive grounding protection, ensuring that all electrical circuits are properly grounded to enhance operational safety.
Additional safety and reliability features include:
· integrated battery pack and PCS system design
· stable AC power output
· advanced battery management system (BMS)
These technologies ensure consistent, reliable energy delivery in demanding environments.
The standard configuration uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their excellent safety, long lifecycle, and thermal stability.
Key specifications include:
· 0.5-1C battery charge and discharge rate
· long cycle life
· high safety performance
For projects requiring higher energy density, ternary lithium batteries (NMC) are also available as an optional configuration, though they come with higher system costs.
In addition to stationary systems, Xupernova also supports mobile BESS solutions.
The mobile system integrates the energy storage unit with an electric truck platform, creating a fully integrated mobile energy storage solution that can be deployed wherever power is needed.
Typical use cases include:
· emergency power supply
· temporary construction power
· disaster response
· mobile charging infrastructure
This mobility allows energy storage resources to be rapidly deployed and relocated based on demand.
With scalable capacity, advanced thermal management, and flexible deployment options, the new Xupernova BESS platform provides a powerful solution for modern energy systems.
The system enables customers to improve energy efficiency, enhance grid stability, and support the growing transition toward renewable power.
